This shoulda been a great week but it just ended up fucked. Spul vs Tavarez didn’t even happen. Spul dropped two lines and then Tavarez dropped two lines late so Spul won. 9th didn’t battle MC Firetruck, he came in with some whole *blah blah, 9th wins!* bullshit. Yeah I know the situation but at least drop like 12 lines for both or some shit, it ain’t hard. Especially as you fucking asked for it. Not much voting going on, a battle from last week is still open for fuck sake. It’s pathetic. I give you a league that is set up on time with a long mag and all that shit, and all everyone does is bitch, moan and not vote. Apologies to the people who don’t. But there is no real competition in this league, there are a certain few people who can win the title and no one else can come close. Invite your dope friends and stuff. Just a quick thing I felt like doing. Never, and I mean never, demand anything of me. That shit pisses me off madly, when people demand like “THAT’S 7-0 CLOSE MY BATTLE NOW” it annoys the fuck out of me. Instead say “It’s 7-0, could ya close this please? Would let other battles get more votes”. Always be polite as well, if you ask me something in a mean faggy way (E.g. Serbness for the past 3 weeks) then you won’t get anything. If you ask politely and nicely (E.g. Serbness when he finally got his record fixed) then I will sort the problem out. Also, if you vote on a battle that is something like 5-0 to one person and you vote for the 5-0 person, where as there is a battle that is 2-2 or something, that annoys the fuck out of me. Vote for the battles with less votes! That’s all.

LBL: The Revolution Begins

Yeah, this was pretty shit. 3 battles went down and 1 is still pending. Mimesis vs Jay Cee was nice, Me vs Daubs was nice and Appocolyptik vs Nick Fletcher was nice. So I guess the battles that did go down made up for the 2 that didn’t. Props to everyone who dropped nice and voted.

Mimesis edged this out 3-2. Jay Cee thought he won and a couple of people thought he won comprehensively, but the fact that he recycled basically all of his verse maybe makes him deserve the loss. Both dropped nice, but voters thought Mimesis dropped nicer.

LBL Contendership Match: N.Tavarez (2-1) vs SPuL (2-1)

Fucking stupid. SPuL came in and dropped 2 bars cos Tavarez no-showed. Spul wins.

Daubs vs KempoMRK

I enjoyed this battle, to write and read as Daubs verse was cool to read cos I get the personals and all that stuff. I just got this 3 votes to 2, so props to Daubs for a nice battle and for the idea of doing Beckham vs Rooney also. Made it more fun for us both.

Appocolyptik vs Nick Fletcher

This was a nice battle. It was long at like 40 lines a piece, but it was nice. I can’t go into specifics as it’s still open, but its worth the read so vote on it.

Rexless is just a newb so he didn’t really have a chance here, no offence to him and I’m sure he’ll elevate but he ain’t up to the other two’s level. Rush didn’t drop well at all though, his verse was obviously rushed as fuck and he told me he was outta town for a while so that’s why. Rell got this easily by basically trying and being more creative. Rush’s rexless of a man bar was hot though. But Rell won this 5-0.

Merkowitzzz is never gonna vote, let’s face it. If you are facing him, vote and you’ve won. Merk didn’t vote. J Brix won.

Precize (0-1) vs K.ontroveryz.Y (0-1)

Kon didn’t come great, he seems to be at the stage where in a couple of months he’ll be average, then a couple of months after that he’ll be able to hold his own against some decent battlers. Precize won this pretty easy though. Kon had nothing of quotables nature, where as Precize had a couple. The mean, median and mode punch was mad creative, not seen it before either so a fresh concept. And the bi sexual bar was aight. Precize won this 7-1.

lmao at this Serbness bar, gayest bar I’ve seen in the league:

Predictions

LBL Championship Match: 1. Mimesis (4-0) vs 2. SPuL (3-1)

Rematch! Mimesis sorta stomped Spul in the first battle they had in the league and I reckon it could be a bit closer, but with the same outcome. Mimesis is still on a roll and he’ll want to defend his title where as SPuL has just come off a no-show against N.Tavarez in a battle it seems like he couldn’t be fucked about, so I reckon Mimesis just wants this more. Should be nice though.

LBL Contendership Match: 3. So Rell (3-0) vs 4. .J.Brix. (2-0)

J.Brix only got into this battle cos JTR didn’t vote, so really he shouldn’t be here. He’s an aight battler but no way near as good as So Rell. Should be a pretty easy win for So Rell.

5. R-Rated (1-0) vs 6. Billy Baghdad (1-0)

Billy dropped so-so this week, then again it was against someone who he was pretty sure was no-showing so don’t take that verse too seriously. R-Rated is generally referred to as a legend though so I can see R-Rated taking this quite easily.

7. JTR (2-1) vs 8. Serbness (2-1)

JTR only lost cos he didn’t fucking vote. Serbness didn’t drop great last week and JTR beat his opponent easy but as I said he didn’t vote. So JTR to win.

Danjure got beat pretty easily by JTR where as N.Tavarez just basically no-showed against Spul. Tavarez should get this easily.

Precize beat Kontroverzy easily, where as Rexless wasn’t even a factor in his battle. Precize is quite creative and within a couple of months he could be pretty nice. Precize will win this.

13. Merkowitzzz (1-3) vs 14. Rush Lingo (2-2)

Merk won’t vote and Rush Lingo will win, almost a dead certainty really.

Quite a tough one to call really. Chris is probably the better battler overall, yet it could go either way. I’m gonna go with Chris though.

So yeah, excuse the negativity in this mag, I’m just pissed that this league isn’t going how I want it to. There are still people doing their thing, just not enough. And people half assing and not trying pisses me off more than anything. The fact that Mimesis has got verse of the week for every week shows how little people are trying. As someone shouldn’t be allowed to drop verse of the week for a month in a league with quite a lot of talent. Drop dope and make sure you fucking vote. Peace. P.S.
