The LBL Cypher

Alright, so we had a lot of participation and I'm not going to knock that, but, that has nothing to do with the quality of the lines. I liked lines from Aeral, and Wordz Ahgod wasn't that bad either. But honestly, urmomsuxdixxx shined with some hot lines.. some that went to everyone including myself. I personally felt his cypher lines the most. This marks the second week in a row that he's won the cypher. Keep cyphering guys, see if you can top his reign.. or WILL be be the cypher king? We'll have to see, now won't we?


Battle Reviews

LBL Championship Match: 1. Butler (12-0) vs 2. Shake-Zula (11-2)
This was a pretty ill battle. Butler suprised me, because I thought he was winding down, but he came pretty dope. And Shake-Zula didn't disappoint either and he came pretty ill too. Hot battle. Props to both. Unfortunatley this battle only received 4 votes, and Butler took it 4-1, and continued his reign of dominance.

LBL Contendership Match: 3. Mercules (7-1) vs 4. Sonny Dimebags (6-2)
aiight this wasn't that bad of a battle. Sonny didn't come that bad, and Merc came with a nice verse I thought. His opener and Saw Dust lines were nice, whereas Sonny had the microwave line. pretty cool battle. In the end Mercules emerged the victor, by voting of 4-0.

5. Brock Sampson (4-0) vs 6. Nasdeey (5-4)
In my opinion this battle was a massacre. One-sided as hell. Brock came pretty nice, while Nasdeey had nothing at all. Which left lot of the voters wondering how he even got there in first place. Brock however, held his own, and destroyed Nasdeey. Final vote was 7-0 Brock.

7. Euthanize (4-3) vs 8. Ken `Pho (2-2)
This was a weak battle. It seemed like neither of them really wanted this battle. Didn't really like any lines from either, but in the end Euthanize won 5-0.

9. SlicKnife (8-1) vs 10. SPuL (4-1)
SPuL was a gay faggot and no-showed. Fuck him and his hindu religon. Bitch ass terrorist. SlicKnife wins via no-show

11. LMAOffender (2-0) vs 12. L.I. (2-0)
This was another hot battle. It was one of the contenders for battle of the week. Both came pretty tight. Many have been doubting L.I. and thought this would be the time he would crumble. But he suprised a lot of people and came real hard. LMAO also dropped pretty tight. But in the end, L.I. had what it took to emerge victorious, as he won 3-0.

13. pictureperfect2 (2-0) vs 14. Wordz Ahgod (2-0)
This was an ehh battle. I thought Picture perfect would win it because he seemed like he was in a groove the past few weeks. But this week he came up short. Wordz ahgod's verse was decent IMO. Just enough to get him the victory. He won by votes, 3-0

Yung wins via no-show

This battle was pretty cool. They both dropped within the first day, and Kempo rewarded them by stickying their thread so they can get a good amount of votes. Flash's verse was ok. He started out wack, but in the end he really picked it up and he had some nice funny lines I thought. Flow came pretty nice. He's someone to watch out for down the road I think. Another good drop by Flow. In the end Flow won the match 7-1

Malicious wins via no-show

This was a weak ass battle in my opinion. Mystic went over line limit set by Test, but I'm not gonna penalize him because it wasn't even close. Mystic ended up winning 5-0

27. Oz. (1-1) vs 28. Erel Avent (7-3)
This was a decent battle. Oz came pretty wack. Didn't really like anything he put up. Erel came pretty coo. If he tries consistently I can see him going far in this league. But he easily won this 5-0

Original wins via no-show

31. Faime S. Quotez (0-1) vs 32. Binary I (0-1)

damn this was another tight battle. Both came pretty nice. I saw it real close, a battle that could of gone either way. Untold seemed like he finally tried again this week, cuz he came up with some nice shit. Urmom is an alias obviously, and he came pretty nice too. Untold ended up winning 6-1.

this was ok battle. So Rell obviously didn't try, his verse wasn't what he's capable of droppin. Had a few cool lines tho. 8 ball line was coo. Aeral came pretty nice tho. Had some good shit. Liked the 01 line. good shit. Aeral won this at the end 5-0

37. Artistik (0-0) vs 38. T.r.oo.P (0-0)
This wasn't that bad of battle. Both dropped decent. Tisk just seemed like he wanted it a bit more. He eventually won 7-0

Wow this was a suprise battle to me yo. MCvisual didn't drop. But the other two held their own. Pretty good battle. I expect some good things from both. got some potential. both dropped nice. Too bad, nobody really read it. As only 2 votes were cast. Both to Comedian, so he won 2-0.

Predictions

LBL Championship Match: 1. Butler (13-0) vs. 2. Mercules (8-1)
This will be a pretty tight battle. Both are coming off victories where they came ill. So this will be a very good battle. Will this be Butler's first loss? Very well could be. To me, it's going to be real close. I'm not sure on who'll win, this one is up in the air IMO.

LBL Contendorship Match: 3. Brock Sampson (5-0) vs. 4. Euthanize (5-3)
Brock's been a beast on RM for a while, and now lately he's on a roll. While Euthanize is coming off a battle that neither him or his opponent really deserved to win. So I think this will be an EASY victory for Brock.

5. SlicKnife (9-1) vs. 6. L.I. (3-0)
This too has potential to be a dope ass battle. Slick has come dope in past, while L.I. is really underated. This will be close, but I see L.I. taking this by a BIT because he seems like he really wants it more. But it will be close.

7. Wordz Ahgod (3-0) vs. 8. Yung Impression (4-1)
This should be an aiight battle. Wordz has been coming better each week. But I think Yung will get this by a bit. Should be close.

9. Shake-Zula (11-3) vs. 10. Flow Intell (2-0)
This shall be another hot battle as well. That is if Shake-Zula will be motivated to try. He's already made two championship runs, and lost in two close title matches. Iunno if he is still motivated. Whereas Flow has been coming really hard last two weeks and really seems to want it. If Shake is still motivated I think he will get this, but otherwise Flow might pull it off.

11. Meters (2-1) vs. 12. Sonny Dimebags (6-3)
This could be a pretty nice battle. Meters dropped against Com last week in no-show battle, and didn't drop too bad. Whereas Sonny can really bring some heat to the table if he tries. So I see Sonny taking this one.

13. Malicious (3-1) vs. 14. Nasdeey (5-5)
Should be decent battle. Neither have really wowed me with their stuff. But I think Malicious will take this one, because Nasdeeys last battle was a real stinker.

15. Mystic (2-2) vs. 16. Erel Avent (8-3)
Erel can come really dope when he tries, and last few weeks it seems he really wants this. Mystic can drop decent at times, but I think Erel will get this easily.

This should be a really tight. Both can come real dope. LMAO is an alias, while JTR has made the finals in the last two KORV's. He seems like he's ready to finally make an LBL title run. So I see him taking this.

Untold came real hard last week, while Original came decent. If Untold tries I think the dude will have no problem with this. He just has to not be lazy, VOTE, and try.

If COM shows, he would rip this battle and walk away with an easy W. But I just don't see COM showing so Kon will win via no-show

Another dope battle here. Rush should of really been in the top 10. He was really steaming forward last time I saw him. So he will be really motivated. Artistik came off a strong performance last week. So this will be another dope battle. I see Rush taking this though

Erel Avent- He has been dropping nicely the past few weeks, and seems like he's getting momentum in his favor as he is ready to make a surge into the LBL top 10. I expect him to be in the contendership match in a few weeks.

Wordz ahgod- He's seemed to be trying his best, and it's earned him a top 10 spot. It's up to him to make the most of it.

Yung Impression- Dude has been rolling ever since his one loss in the LBL. He's earned his top 10 spot, so let's see if he can capitalize on it now.

Untold- He has me believing he's trying again. So he was once one of the top names in the LBL, and I see that he will continue to rise till he gets his spot as one again.

Comedian- I was impressed personally with his opening match. He looks like he has a lot of potential. I don't know if he's a top head from another site, but I like his style, and he follows rules. So props to him. Watch out for him.

Must Be Sleeping

These people need a wake-up call.

Euthanize- No hate, but I haven't really liked any of his recent shit. I mean, you're in the contendership match. Step up or get stepped on.

Nasdeey- He was in top 10 last week, and his verse last week was utter trash. Left many wondering how he even got there. I don't know if you didn't try, but I suggest you start trying or expect to keep falling down the rankings till you eventually sign-out.

Stanza aka Oz.- Has been slacking lately skill wise, not to mention pulling bitch moves. I suggest you get your attitude straight. Then maybe you might improve. And vote correctly, cuz truth be told, you can learn a lot by reading other people's verses... NOT their votes!

Top 10 Power Rankings

10. Sonny Dimebags- He has reached the finals before. But if he tries again, he will make it again I think. It's all up to his will to win, however.

9. JTR- He's back again, and I think he has really been motivated. He reached the contendership match, and lost via no-show because he was out of town. But I see him getting back in their ASAP. Watch out for him, he's a force to be reckoned with.

8.Rush Lingo- Dude is back in the league. Last time he was in he would of been in the contendership match, but he had some personal business and took time off. But he's back now, and I expect him to make another run

7. Flow Intell- Dude had a long break from text, but since coming back has found a groove that has led him into LBL's top 10. If he puts his mind to it, I can see him continuing to climb up the LBL's ladder and get in the title hunt.

6. SlicKnife- Dude is looking motivated to make another title run. He hasn't given up and wants another shot at Butler or whoever is the title at the time. If he stays motivated, I expect him to get there soon.

5. L.I.- He's an RV legend, but many thought he was not deserving of the spot. Since then, it has been a chip on his shoulder and he has been motivated to prove them wrong. He has cruised through his first 3 weeks, and I can see him in the title match soon if he continues.

4. Brock Sampson- Dude has been merking everyone in his path up to this point. It has earned him a shot to be the #1 contender for the title. I expect him to win and face either Butler or Mercules next week for the LBL title.

3.Shake-Zula- He had a dope run to the title match, but fell short. He posted up an ill verse, but voters just didn't see it his way. This is his second loss in a title match. It's hard to stay motivated after that. But if he stays motivated, I expect to see him up their in weeks to come.

2.Mercules- Dude has been on a roll all over the net. He is looking to get redemption in his rematch with Butler. he has cake walked his way to the title match for second time. Will the second time be the charm for merc?

1. Butler- had a sick verse last week, and if he stays motivated he's in for one hell of a match this week in his rematch with Mercules for the championship. nobody has been able to beat him, or even get more than 2 votes against him. He is an unstoppable force, and is yet to be matched against.

Yes, I know I said "dude" like a million times in the power rankings and throughout the mag. Fuck it, but overall, not a good week. Sorry, Kemp, for adding in new sections. I mean, only thing I could do to get through this week and put in effort for y'all. But like I said in intro, there were also a couple of tight battles, which means there are some bright spots still going. Hopefully this mag will be seen as a wake-up call for some of y'all who are being lazy. Just realize this, if you guys continue to treat the league without respect like this, do not expect Kempo to keep on running it for a bunch of lazy, ungrateful people. Also, don't bitch at me about what I wrote. This is my opinion, and MY opinion only. If you don't like it, go jump off a cliff. Just remember, you don't want to fuck with me, or some bad bad shit can happen. Don't believe me? Just peep what happened to Tizz when he tried to do that same thing. So what's the moral of the story, kiddies? Don't fuck with SPuL or get jizzed on. Yup, yup. Also, I know I've been hard on a lot of people in this. But just know, I'm doing it because I know y'all can do better, and want this league to get better. Also, to all those who followed rules last week and dropped hard, big props again to you guys. Keep it up. Set an example for the others. That will be all this week. This week looks like it can be tight if y'all start to respect this league. And if you don't like my mag, then fuck you. ~_~
