1.Which free download are you supposed to get?
2.Where on your computer do you plug in the mic?

1.Cool Edit Pro. 2 you can go look for a free download and have someone send you the Registration before the Trial expires.

2. in the back of your computer are jacks.. depending if you have a regular computer or a mac.. it should be on the back of your tower for the computer.. it should have a shape of a mic around the jack.. you plug it in there..

If you have a dynamic mic.. i recommend you have a mixer to plug it into. Most people get rid of dynamic mics cuz they don't sound right on their computer.. they need large amounts of power.

3. The download doesn't take long if you have a high-speed connection.. if you are dial-up it might take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours.. so it depends.

4. Once u download Cool Edit, go to the Folder you sent it to. The default would be to go to My Computer > Owner's Document > "Your Folder Name" > and Scroll to find Cool Edit and double Click it and it should start installing.

5. After you finish recording a song/freestyle/battle.. go to your soundclick account (log-in), click edit> Add New Songs> Click the Robust Button> Browse your computer for your file.. and click ok.. everything else is self-explanatory..
