RECAP: Team 2 lost week 1's challenge and hence had to face the voting council. After some decisive shuffling, E.C. was eliminated after puzzlingly transferring his immunity to his teammate, Ghost.
It's okay that team 2 has 1 less member than team 1 because only 1 person from each team will be dropping the track for your team each week. Please, remember to follow all the rules of the competition. Review the premise thread again if you have to.

The Challenge for this week:


Your team must submit a track in which every OTHER line is in Spanish, French, German, Latin, or Japanese. Therefore, if the verse is 16 lines long, 8 lines will be in ENGLISH, and 8 will be in one of the languages aforementioned. You may rap about ANY TOPIC. However, every OTHER line must be in one of the foreign languages mentioned.

Suggestions: Choose someone on your team who not only speaks ENGLISH well, but knows a second language rather extensively.

**Keep your verse rather simple because you don't want to be translating words like "DISCOMBOBULATED" in Japanese...ugh

**The winning team will be the one that submits a track in which every other line is CLEARLY in a language other than English, is sound in the fundamentals (flow/rhyming), and is creative. WICKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Rules:

1. MUST choose your own beat.
2. NO TIME LIMIT: However, the track MUST be at least 16 LINES, but no longer than 32 lines long.
3. Due date: Saturday, December 3, 2005 by 11:59 EST. Can you believe it's almost Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!?????????????
4. You MUST ABSOLUTELY PROVIDE THE WRITTEN LYRICS IN ENGLISH FOR THE ENTIRE VERSE either in a thread or a PM to me when you submit your track.

ADDENDUM: You may also choose to rap the 1st half in 1 language and the 2nd half in another. So, you don't have to alternate languages. However, 1/2 of your verse MUST BE in another language.

TIP: If you absolutely don't know another language, there are translators ONLINE that can assist you.

REMEMBER:

Both teams 1 and 2 must indicate who the team leader is for this week and which member of your team will be submitting the track for your team. Note: Even though the rest of the team won't be submitting a track this week, you can still assist your teammate in finding a beat, production, writing lyrics, etc.

Also, no ONE person can be either the team captain or the submitter of a track for their team more than twice.

ADDENDUM: The rules are that 1/2 the verse must be in English and the other 1/2 must be in a language OTHER THAN English. Therefore, if you do 1/2 in English and the other 1/2 in 2 languages other than English, that's fine. Just make sure 1/2 your verse is in English and the other 1/2 is in another language.

Also, I realize no one here is a professional interpreter. Therefore, I know the "foreign language" parts might sound jacked up. Be creative. The team that shows the most HEART and CREATIVITY while following the rules will win this challenge.
