Rushing to the catalyst of his death/ Man chooses money over a last breath/ The desire for opulence never subsides and the need for it increases in depth/ Children left alone to grow on a windowsill/ Their rebelliosness questioned when waters are expected to be still/ But there was never anyone to feed their soul or provide light for their growth/ Meanwhile their parents walk around soaked/ by the pressure to stay afloat on a nice ass boat/ not realizing that when death arrives, only love and memories depart with you/ So in ignorance, their kids swallow hard knots, not knowing how to chew.
