Yo, this week was a lot better than last week. Not many no-shows and the main battles went down. NEW CHAMP! Butler beat N.Tavarez pretty comprehensively and is the 4th ever LBL champion. Roger Glocks beat Daubs in a hot battle to move into the championship match, Shake-Zula beat Ace Heratoga and So Rell beat rexless so they face each other in the contendership match this week. Shit’s looking good with some nice battles this week. Let’s get this league to the point of hotness it was at a few weeks ago. Also, reply to the mag more! It disheartens me when there ain’t many replies, shit was hitting in the 200’s a few weeks ago.

When I hear the acronym LBL, I think...Dopeness, Talent, So.Rell, Vets, B-Boys, and a tiny No-Show Problem...My question is if your gonna sign up for the League why the Fuck are you not gonna show? This is mainly directed towards Newbs. Fuck you! Another one is not voting, I see Kempo has inforced this so most are doing it, I know a few vets who didn't vote but their gettin used to it now...To a Few of the New Heads if you suck and you know you suck (ahem J Bee), Sign Out, i don't wanna see another corny verse here. Kempo gotta give you preps the League is running smoothly gettin dope heads I just want some of the UPN heads over here but they love it over there. The Monthly Event is really doing good around here lot of people coming up with good Ideas, besides the wrestling Fanatics, and Chrit and his pic fetish, ngga's got a shrine, otherwise good battle FUCKER!!! I should've never gave you the extension. I still wanna see the Country Battle..US vs. UK that would be DOPE, Boy Fresh!!! Who the fuck, want, what? Anyway. This week should be great we should have a tight ass Champ Match this week because I highly doubt butler will take Glocks lightly and Vice Versa. I really wanna see David Lama Sign Up, for a Mag writer he's dope...and also see him write a Mag one week. He's good at those. Gopha - I didn't expect him to beat me, he came pretty nice a few played line but he proved hisself.
Ace Heratoga - Lol I winning the series 3-1 against him but recently he's been droppin hot, except this past week. What a Dumbass.
N.Tavarez - I always knew he was good, but champing the LBL is not an easy task, That shocked me.

I also have a few dissapointments.

Daubs - Kempo I think your screwin him on the battles lol, that man has had the toughest schedules in the league. Hey Sucks to be You lol.

SlicKnife - I was very impressed when he first came into the league Dope always had potential but recently i guess he hasn't tried.

Well what I want to see this week is showing up thats one thing, but Overall this League is becoming Doper by the Week, sure it has it's down points but if any of you Idiots have an Idea to make it doper Let Kempo Know for Christ sake. but to conclude this portion of the Mag, Fuck all and have a good Week. pCe.

Battle Reviews

LBL Championship Match: 1. N.Tavarez (6-0) vs 2. Butler (5-0) vs 3. Phryme (4-0)

Pretty good battle here. First off though, Phryme no-showed so that left it down to N.Tavarez and Butler. Butler had a cool verse with quite a few quotables. Sweep it was dope, too much lip was hot, ‘Rez erect was ill and border was cool. Good verse overall, although I thought it took him a while to get going. Tav dropped and his verse was pretty good, wasn’t very consistent though. I was feeling the stake phrys and drop nothing bars though, they were hot. Good battle but Butler took it pretty easy, winning 4-1.

LBL Contendership Match: 4. Daubs (9-5) vs 5. Roger Glocks (5-1)

This was a hot battle but Glocks killed it. He had a lot of ill quotables that just overshadowed all of Daubs verse, and Daubs had a pretty good verse as well. Glocks will be a future champ in this league no doubt. The DA, criminal suspect, flash game and jaw line bars were all dope and fresh, and the rest of his verse was pretty good too. Daubs had the tender and burglar lines but he couldn’t get Glocks in this. Roger won this 9-0.

6. Shake-Zula (6-1) vs 7. Ace Heratoga (4-0)

Shake dropped first and came with a pretty cool verse. He had a couple of quotables like dissed yaself and index finger bars. The rest of his verse was generally quite average but there wasn’t much weak stuff in there. Ace dropped aight, not as nice as he has done in the league previously though. He had the lip bar that played off of Shake’s pic though which was hot, and I laughed at the 40 year old bar as well but it was a bit simple. In the end though Shake won this 7-1.

8. So Rell (9-5) vs 9. rexless (2-1)

Rell got this easy. Rexless needs to stop explaining his bars as it makes his verse seem mad newbish. His style is super stretched as well so he needs to sort it. He did have a registration process bar though that I thought was nice. But Rell took this easily, his mind state bar was hot. Rell won this 7-1.

10. Gopha (4-1) vs 11. Faime S. Quotez (3-2)

Faime no-showed. Gopha won.

12. Mimesis (9-1) vs 13. FuxJustAWord (2-0)

Fux no-showed. Mimesis won.

14. Out Writechas (2-0) vs 15. Mercules (2-0)

Not a bad battle, neither came like they can but Out especially didn’t drop as well as he has been. His verse didn’t seem to hit much as the concepts were kinda off, his picture perfect bar was cool though. Merc dropped pretty good, props was good and outright out-write Outwrite was ill as fuck. Mercules won this 7-1.

16. Erel Avent (4-1) vs 17. E.C (4-1)

Very onesided. E.C dropped ok but his verse lacked any real fire, his flat line bar was dope though, I was really feeling that. Erel dropped hot, top ten was hot, chick fight was dope and fresh and seven and eight keys was cool. That jokes on top of jokes, tricks on top of tricks bar was cool as well but it was worded so it didn’t make sense:

It’s an ill concept, but it came across as Erel calling himself a joke, so it was weird. Cool concept though. Erel won this 7-0.

18. pictureperfect2 (3-3) vs 19. da sein (2-1)

Eh battle. Sein dropped ok, he had the facing anyone good bar which was pretty dope. Picture had nothing I was really feeling, seems like he’s rushing his verses or something. Sein would have won this 7-5 but he didn’t vote for the second week running so he gets the loss.

20. T.r.oo.P (2-3) vs 21. Sonny Dimebags (1-1)

Pretty so so battle. Troop dropped first and had nothing of note really, seemed like he was too focused on telling Sonny he was whack before the battle. Sonny dropped and he came better, the Shake bar was cool. Sonny won this 3-1.

22. Euthanize (1-0) vs 23. Rae Report (1-0)

Euth came ok, a lot of weak fillerish type of stuff though. I think 18 was probably too much to go. His quotables were cool though. Rae was eh, brain bar was decent and eu turn was ok, but Euthanize dropped better.

24. Feeble Minded (1-0) vs 25. Sangre (1-0)

Sangre no-showed, Feeble Minded won.

26. Shadow (1-0) vs 27. JTR (7-5)

Shadow no-showed, JTR won.

Another pretty weak battle. Ayo dropped okish I guess, his DS’L bar was pretty cool. D.Stroyer didn’t really have anything of note. Ayo won this 7-1.

Predictions

LBL Championship Match: 1. Butler (6-0) vs 2. Roger Glocks (6-1)

This should be dope. Glocks pretty much owned the league last, getting best verse and best battle and Butler was second best to him. But it could be very different in this battle though. Glocks can drop hot when he wants but he doesn’t ALWAYS, where as Butler hasn’t dropped a poor verse in this league yet. This will be a dope battle if both drop to their potential, but if both do drop to their potential then Butler should win as he’s more experienced and generally better.

LBL Contendership Match: 3. Shake-Zula (7-1) vs 4. So Rell (10-5)
Both have been dropping pretty decent lately, but nothing outstanding like we saw from them a couple of weeks back. Shake seems to be cooling off especially, as he was dropping pretty ill at the start and now he’s just dropping decent to good. Rell has been dropping alright, he had a good verse two weeks ago that used the style he’s using at the moment, but I don’t think he can beat Shake if Shake drops hot. So Shake to win this.

5. Gopha (5-1) vs 6. Mimesis (10-1)

This should be pretty tight actually. Gopha was relatively unknown to me until he started in this league, but the good verses I’ve seen from him have been tight. Only thing is he hasn’t dropped a proper verse in the league for a couple of weeks now, so he hasn’t got any real momentum. Mimesis can drop hot at any given moment, so I think that gives him the advantage and he’ll get this.

7. Mercules (3-0) vs 8. Erel Avent (5-1)

Another potentially hawt battle. Erel dropped ill last week and had the 3rd best verse of the week, where as Mercules dropped pretty good. Based on last week Erel will win this, but it could be very different as Merc can drop doper than he has been.

9. N.Tavarez (6-1) vs 10. Daubs (9-6)

Daubs just keeps having the hard opponents. It’s pretty harsh really as his record looks shite, where as he’s a lot better than it. If he loses he’ll go to 9-7 which will be a very bad reflection of him. This should be pretty close though, but I think Tavarez will edge it out.

11. Chrit (6-3) vs 12. pictureperfect2 (4-3)

A few weeks back picture was pretty good and was consistently dropping top punches, where as he ain’t been dropping great for the past week or two. I dunno why, but he hasn’t. Therefore Chrit will win this easily.

13. Sonny Dimebags (2-1) vs 14. Euthanize (2-0)

Hmm, pretty close battle. Based on last week though I’ve got Sonny taking this as he showed more potential than Euthanize. Euth has the wording down but it seems like his concepts ain’t dope, prob rust or something.

15. Feeble Minded (2-0) vs 16. JTR (8-5)

This’ll be hot. JTR needs to step it up to beat Feeble though as Feebs is a RapBattles legend and he always drops hot. JTR can be hilariously dope when he wants to be though so he could win. But I’m gonna take Feeble on this one.

17. Nasdeey (2-2) vs 18. Tony Brown (3-3)

I dunno if Nasdeey will show, he only dropped a check-in to get the win last week. But from what I’ve seen of him he ain’t as good as Tony Brown, so Tony will win this.

19. SlicKnife (4-1) vs 20. Ayo its Money (1-0)

Ayo dropped alright last week, but only had one punchline that was pretty cool. Same with SlicKnife I guess but I’ve seen much doper verses from Slic so I’m going with him to win this, I hope he steps it up though and starts dropping how he was the first time in the league.

21. Met-A-4 (1-0) vs 22. Realism (1-0)

Another potentially tight battle. Realism is hot and should do well in the league, and Met-A-4 is hot and has done well in the league before, getting to the champ match. This is quite hard to predict as Realism has probably dropped the better verses but Met-A-4 wants it more, so for that I’m gonna go with Met-A-4.

23. Raw King (2-5) vs 24. Ace Heratoga (4-1)

Easy win for Ace really. That’s all there is to it. Raw didn’t drop at all great last week and Ace is tight. So Ace to get this.

25. rexless (2-2) vs 26. Out Writechas (2-1)

Another one-sided battle. Seems like rexless is still adjusting to battling as he’s not dropping great, and his wins have been no-shows I believe. Out is a lot better and will win this easy.

27. E.C (4-2) vs 28. da sein (2-2)

This’ll be close. E.C is pretty good and can drop hot at times but he doesn’t always and da sein generally drops reasonably good, but not dope. I’d say sein could edge this but I don’t think he’ll really be bothered about this battle, so E.C to win.

29. T.r.oo.P (2-4) vs 30. ClasSick (2-0)

Murder. Classick will kill Troop by a lot of votes.

31. Rae Report (1-1) vs 32. Marcus Aurelias (0-2)

Should be quite close. Both are quite average but they both have room for potential. Rae dropped ok last week and Marcus didn’t drop all that great. I dunno, I’m gonna guess Rae to win.

33. D.Stroyer (0-1) vs 34. Mick Swagger (0-1)

I ain’t seen a verse of Mick’s but D.Stroyer’s verse wasn’t great last week, so I’m gonna go with Mick taking this.

35. The Real Talk (1-2) vs 36. J Bee (1-1)

lol, this’ll be awful. It’ll be hilarious though, especially J Bee’s verse, I’m looking forward to that. But J Bee’ll just drop a funny/gay as hell verse and The Real Talk will actually drop something resembling a battle verse. So Real Talk will win.

37. GC (0-0) vs 38. RA!N (0-0)

I dunno either of these. Guess, GC.

39. DaTrusHurtz (0-0) vs 40. TheKid_Sense (0-0)

Trus is tight, TheKid ain’t nothing really. He didn’t drop great in the tag tourney at all. Trus will win this easy.

Don’t Sleep On

DaTrusHurtz – He’s ill and will be upsetting quite a lot of heads in this league, one to watch no doubt.

SlicKnife – He’s in this section as he hasn’t been dropping great, but he has the potential to. Definitely one not to sleep on.

ClasSick – Back in the league after a week break, he’ll be dropping hot no doubt and is a definite title contender. Will be in the champ match soon.

Met-A-4 – Is hungry to do well in this league and if he drops to his potential he can be. Was in the champ match the last time he was in the league, let’s see if he can do it again.

Top 10 Power Rankings

10. N.Tavarez – Who knows if he has the hunger to regain the title after losing last week, but when he’s at his best he’s dangerous.

9. Chrit – Back in the league after a brief hiatus, the previous champ will be looking to regain that title and he definitely can do it.

8. Gopha – Has dropped hot a couple of times before but he needs to prove that he can do it on a regular basis, the underdog in his battle with Mimesis definitely. This week will be a big test for him.

7. Mercules – He’s just behind Erel as he could definitely win the battle, it just depends how he drops and how much he tries.

6. Erel Avent – He dropped dope last week and if he keeps that up he could be in the contendership match next week.

5. Mimesis – Should be in the champ match soon, he still isn’t properly defeated in this league.

4. So Rell – Is starting to get a proper style down now, I dunno if he’ll be able to get to the title match again this week but he’s one to watch over the coming weeks.

3. Shake-Zula – Has cooled off a bit lately but should be able to get to the champ match if he doesn’t sleep on Rell.
