Ghostface Killah - The Big Doe Rehab

IP: 2998 9024

Record Label: Def Jam Records
Featured Artists: Styles P, Beanie Sigel, Method Man , Masta Killa, Raekwon, Kid Capri, Chrisette Michele

More money, more problems is the slogan for hustling. While most can conjure up a variety of ways to spend their money, Ghostface admits himself to rehab on his seventh studio album The Big Doe Rehab. Ghostface continues with his enthusiastic narrative skills that he bestowed for fans and critics for 11 years as a solo artist.

The veteran MC is still evident in the droning rap industry . His Wu brethren are featured throughout the album Raekwon, Method Man, U God, Cappadonna and Masta Killa.

The symbolic soul samples are what exude Ghost’s emotion throughout the 16-track album. “I’ll Die For You” is a Marvin Gaye inspired track that Ghost spits his heart out on each bar. Not to forget the hood-tales Meth and Raekwon exhibit on “Yolanda’s House” alongside Ghostface. Reminiscent of a Scorcese flick, Ghost reveals three minutes of intricate scenes of violence and crime.

Not as complete as Fishscale, The Big Doe Rehab gives fans the familiar ingredients that serve up a Ghostface album. “Walk Around” is one the notable tracks that displays the veteran at his highest with storylines of crack bein g the ultimate pleasure of stacking up cash.By the climax of The Big Doe Rehab, Ghost touches on the oddest things from polar bears to baking soda.

The Big Doe Rehab is one of the most elaborative storytelling efforts that most will rock to while reciting quotable lines. Don’t let the RZA and Ghostface press beef interfere with the best buy LPs of the year. The Big Doe Rehab is the perfect appetizer as the world anticipates 8 Diagrams that is 6 years overdue.
