This is for the newbie, the clueless, and the just plain wack emcee's on RB.....alot people ask me what is that? or what does that mean? well heres a education in elevation..Peep

**lesson 1**

Wordplay: this means, to play on words pronuciation, meanings, and sounds....

ex. hope you aint think you would "Win Free" like "Oprah"

see how I used Oprahs last name in a complately different way....this is a basic method used in text battles

**Lesson 2**

Multis: this means, to use a gruop of words to ryme with another gruop of words, while having it still make sence

ex The rymes I spit, are lines I rip, your a pussy with a Dic, so you basically Define a bitch

this adds some creativety to your verse

**Lesson 3**

Flow: this means, staying on beat...simple
ex. yo I might spit fire
might get hire
doing everything that I desire

this helps peeps to keep up with your verse

**Lesson 4**

Metaphors: this is using one object or person to describe another object or person

ex. your on borrowed time like stolen watches

this adds more creativity to your verse
If used right it can and will be very effective for a laugh

**Lesson 5**

Punchlines or Punches: this means, the finish to a good set up/ or the dis twards your opponent

ex. your more "Hoe" than santa cluas laughs

for a effective punch you need a good set up
I t is also good to use a metaphor in your punch also

**Lesson 6**

Dont Be Basic: this means, dont use rymes that a 4th grader could make up

ex. of basic flow you i'm so nice, that spit twice, I get ice, and throw rice, i'm just that nice

ex. of not being basic this dude your Hearing him, getting in blood like Serium, spit punches that'll knock you off your eqalibrium

Hint: when doing this use bigger words than normal, but make shore the words you are using make sence when put to gether.dont put a big word in your verse just because it is big

**Last Lesson**

Nice set up: this means, the way you begin a punch and the way you form your bars

ex. you drop little bars like midget prison cells

The red^^ is the set up of that punchline
this is the main part to having effective punches

If you follow these 7 lessons your verses will be atleast able to compete with the rest of RB



& I wrote this not to sound like I know every thing bout battling cause I dont, but this shit is very basic, I'm just writing what everyone should know allready
