A question?

If it is being published, won't said publishing company be a little pissed about you showing it off to everyone on the Internet. I only ask because a few people who I know, wrote books and posted them up on fictionpress.. but when they officially got the word that they were being published they had to pull them down.

Exactly, that is what I am saying.

That is why I'm not sold on the idea that his book is indeed getting published, because any respectable publishing company would not allow him to show it to everyone online because yeah, it would pretty much kill any potential sales.

i wasn't trying to say you were lying, its just from the input of already published peoples i know, they were only allowed to keep up the first chapter as a "taste" i guess you could call it.
