It’s running over me, seeping into every crevices and crack
Absorbing into my core and whatever it is, won’t let me look back
A new putrid scent has filled my lungs and demands I attack
I’m becoming stoic in a sense because everything’s gone black

When did the hate for the place; become aimed at my skin?
The torture I felt was outside is now booming from within
Like a ravenous beast on a rampage, with nothing to defend
Pondering daily the paths I can pursue to bring this to an end

The energy it’s consuming has left me so lifelessly drained
Fighting this is pointless, when living day to day is a strain
The essence of me is contaminated, though trying to maintain
And I’m finding out every second the new depths of pain

When will it stop becoming “This” and fully swallow me?
The open empty existence carefully consuming, torturing
I’ve been ripped away from something, anything I used to be
As though this hate is laughing at me, it finds this entertaining

Hey, I haven't read yours before but I liked this one. Put a good picture of what you're feeling, in my head. The 3rd stanza is what really stood out to me though. It's hard to go into details about it so I'll just say I enjoyed reading it.

Y'know, the Guru Kid used to have this saying, "Cease becoming, begin to be."

I think that applys here. They way you wrote this poem was like a situation where one, in this case you, were trying to become something. But you couldn't, and it seemed hopeless. First verse gave the feeling of being attacked, second verse gave the feeling of being hurt. Third verse gave me the feeling of hoplessness, and the last part made it seem like you can't just 'be'.

Am I right?

Yes!! you're very right I moved and it's like I'm supposed to be happy here and be the "good happy teenager" and I can't be perfect and when I try I fail... so I can't be it, but I'm glad that some one got this, cause i haven't been able to write in a while so that makes me feel really good, thanks, peace

talk about the only unanswerable question what is it? i dont know how even2 set up a p.o.v. foe it. but ya showed it brought ya sum pain, alomost devestation. with sum larger then life emotions just overflowing the whole peice. i remeber ya name form back in the day, meaning with white backboards and grey writing so ill hollarin cause this was sum great stuff.
