is there anyway to

is there any way to cut up beats so if i want a sound i could just get that 1 sound with out having to get the drums and all the other noise with it?
cause i was listening to a bob marley song and i like the background beat but he has those regae drums mixed in with it. |

not really.... u can EQ the fuck out of the beat...and u might be able to make the drums so light that they wont be noticed....but no...u cant take certain things out if they are already layred over one another..
