let's be honest here, when you get that fortune cookie, whether you fished it out of a bowl or it was tossed in your bag before leaving that restaurant, it was fate.
You were there, you didn't come there for the cookie, you just happened to come across and get the fortune cookie. After that, did you decide to look at it? If you are Religious or just superstitious, a believer of fate, would you not have reason to believe what that cookie may or may not say for you? No one wrote it to give to you. They simply wrote many different kinds and dropped them in cookies which were randomly distributed. So ask yourself, why or why shouldn't a person believe in a fortune cookie's fortune?

fuck. it sucks that i believe in fortune cookies right now. I've gotten shit that said something would happen and it did, I've gotten cookies saying that even though it doesn't seem like it at a certain time, I'm actually the brightest in a situation, and shit like that
but this time i busted open my cookie that i picked out and it said "  A carrot a day may keep cancer away " with the smiley faces 'n' shitman.. my liver... I think my time might be comin' y'all maybe i should really see a doctor sometime soon. I still haven't. Well I did but the doctor told me it's a 50% chance, that dumb asshole... I wonder.. argh.....
