Rules

The Rules are simple...

I will set the battles up every Monday.

the check in day will be Wednesday of everyweek. If you have not dropped by Midnight MOUNTAIN TIME (time zone where I live), you will be given three extra hours. If you have not checked in by then, immediate loss of the battle.

Tracks are up by Friday, voting is done on Sunday.

But you will not be elimated.

Instead, this tournament will be ran like a league in a sense. That means, even if you lose the first battle, you will have a chance to redeem yourself. It will be a SIX week season, and then a TWO or THREE week elimination playoffs. Only a yet-to-be selected number of contestants with the highest points will be selected for the playoffs. So this will drive you to get more points.

You will not only be awarded points for a win, but also earn points for some things that might have shined in track that particular week.

Which leads into the voting.

Voting Procedure

Voting will be simple. You will not have to leave a detailed explanation at all really.

Total:

Those are the categories that will be voted on. Just give them a score out of ten. Any scores You do not have to give an explanation, just highlight in two or three words why they excelled or lacked in that area.

And how many battles you vote on is entirely up to you...though, I would suggest the minimum three, at least. If you don't, you won't lose the battle...just any points you recieve from your scores will not be counted.

And about that...

If you recieve any scores that are 8 ot higher...you will automatically recieve two points for greatness in that category.

And it's five points for every win.

Battles

Tracks for the battle will be set up as follows:

2 verses, 2 or more hooks.

Intros, outros, whatever you want.

Minimum time limit: 2 Minutes
Maximum Time Limit: None

The End Of The Tournament

The end of the tournament will be set up as elimination playoffs. The last man standing will get the win.

And also, the point system is in effect for the playoffs. You will see why later.

And that is pretty much it.
