Battles go up on Saturday
Tracks are due Wednesday
Voting is due Friday

At midnight (each category) in whatever time zone you are in.


CHECK-INS ARE NOT ASKED FOR BUT THEY ARE ENCOURAGED!



Tracks

There is no maximum time limit.
There is a 1 minute minimum.

You cannot have anyone else on the track
(Excluding samples or shout-out but no rapping or singing by anyone else)

How you use your time is completely up to you.
You can have hook or no hook, 1 or 2/3/... verses.

You can choose the beat.

It's a topical audio league so I need to see you worked around one of the topics that will be given. So do not diss your opponent (unless the topic allows you to which I strongly doubt)



Point System

KO-win (minimum 3-0): + 4 points
Normal win (most votes) : + 3 points
No-show win/ Tie: + 1 point
Normal loss (less votes): - 2 points
KO-loss (minimum 0-3): - 3 points
No-show loss: - 4 points

The point total and overall record will determine who goes to the play-offs.



No-Showing


Everyone will be an ALTERNATE. If your opponent no-shows, you will be put in an alternate match (if there is another match with one opponent no-showing) so you still get a battle but not with the person you were first assigned to. If you DO NOT WISH TO BE AN ALTERNATE, PLEASE STATE SO IN YOUR CHECK-IN! Then you will receive the no-show win.


This rule is being installed to prevent no-shows.

If you do no-show, I'll let it slip once. If you do this twice, you are suspended from the league for a week. After that week, you can sign back in. Do not try this too often because I won't allow you to sign back in.



Prizes


Free beats (you can pick the style and everything). Still have to negotiate with the dude about how many he can offer. Trust me though, he's good...

Free mixtapes (from people on this or other sites), names will follow.
