word coz with the sun currently how it is...it takes 8 minutes for the light to travel but obviously the larger the sun gets the shorter the distance light has to travel...

i don't quite think it would be 7.5 mins though coz an explosion that catastrophic would instantly blow the nearer planets away think of the nuclear and atomic power being produced by the sun every second! it's a ticking time bomb...and we're right in the firing line...
