To be honest, this flyer looks like it should be advertising clowns.
The color / font really give off that weird feel, and seriously do look like they belong on the side of a Circus tent.

With that said, I agree with Rey when he says "colors grab your attention." They most certainly do.
But theres a bit TOO much of attention grabbing here.
We just need someones head to turn, their eyes dont have to fall out.
I suggest picking a couple colors and sticking with them. Maybe do three, four maximum. Two of those colors put on a grey scale (meaning anything from white to black and in between), the other colors that mix well together and dont necessarily contrast greatly.

Font, I would just wipe clean, completely. Change every single font on that flyer you see. You dont have to do something completly whacky for someone to notice it.
In all honesty, Sans Serif fonts sell artwork, and those are the most basic in the book. Impact is always a nice font to work with when doing anything, maybe try a little of that?

Try some of that and post something up, hopefully we'll all see an improvement.
