Great site here, cool concept and whatnot. I've been a poet forever, and I got into slam poetry, which lead to spittin', and thus why I'm here. I pretty much suck right now, but battlin seems like a good way to get hella practice.

Off the top of my head (yeah, I suck at freestyles, get over it),

I'm sick of this shit, here's a quick tip from Zero Sum,
Quit sittin' back and waitin' for the day your hero'll come.
Cause life's over fast, that's an intractable trend,
fact is, in the end, only one's that really fuck you call you friend.
Look out for number one, step down on number two,
cause who else you think is up there looking out for you?
I'm standin' here alone, tired to the bone, tired of cell phones,
and bein' alone and tired of this goddamned stone,
weighin' me down, pullin' me under. Don't even stop to wonder,
Break the chains asunder - this world's about rape, pillage and plunder.
Broken dreams fallen scenes, spittin' ill's the only respite,
from this plight - a far sight of trite spite comin' from those with might.
You're the hammer, hate's the nail. Roundabout,
you can drive it in, or you can pull it out.
