my sisters ex bf has court wednesday,and my dad is gonna testify on behalf of my sisters ex, isnt that some shit.now hes pry gonna get out,and slowly going to try to come around....so i told my dad would u rather have him go to jail or me cuz when i see him its funk on sight, and he said at least youll have a place to live if i do beat him up and go to jail.
(and yes i live with my dad,the economy sucks)
but for real ive been reading tons of scriptures on forgiveness, and was at the point of forgiving him..my family is notorious for doing fucked up shit, this still doesnt take the cake but still.......
his side of the story is he shouldnt have to do 4 years for it,and he should be able to see his baby
(that he could have seriously injured during his drunken rage)
also what im thinking is my sister wants to get back with him and is asking my dad to do it.cuz my sister has made comments that he shouldnt have to do that much time,and he should be able to see his kid..and he already has a domestic abuse against his ex wife.so obviously hes not gonna stop.
what is it with girls wanting to stay in abusive relationships?
but anyway what would you guys do in my shoes?

My cousin always tells me the same advice over and over again...allow other people to make mistakes, and just continue to give them advice so they go in the right direction

which, although im not super religous, but do belive in a god, is what the bible does. It gives advice to allow you to hopefully make the right choices.

All you can do is give your sister and father the best advice that you feel will help them, and if they choose to do their own thing, than its on them.

You can't control your sisters mind, and beating up her abusive b/f isn't going to change anything, other than get you into trouble.

I understand that its your sister, and I myself have 2 younger sisters who I will protect once their at the age of having bf's, but ultimatley its up to your sister to make the choices and live with those consequences and its up to you to always be their to support her.

But dont get my words twisted up, make sure you make a clear point that if that faggot ever touches your sister again with his hands, or try's to puff his chest up and throw shit around...that you WILL do something about it.

so i guess my sisters ex took a plea bargin to where he is only convicted of domestic abuse and not the interupting a 911 call and child neglect and was released today.
but i asked my dad and sister what happened and thats all they would tell me so im not sure if they testified on his behalf, but im gonna have my mom look up the court case in the public records and see what happened..
but whatever despite how i feel he should be able to see his kid with supervised visits, no matter how much i dont like him for what he did, but i made it clear to my dad and sister that he wont be coming to the house to do so.

life is too short to be around negative people, even if they are family, let them grow on their own, and let them just know that you're there if they really need you. don't waist your energy on people that don't want your help, they'll come around and ask for it if they really need it.
