first of all you dont even do it right sho how are you gonna make a tut that teaches people to do it the WRONG way.

you cant put the background for the red/blue skin cuz other people use DIF skin. a good way to do it is make it TRANSPARENT and save it as a png.

well, for one i dont use paintshop pro, so i cant really help you there...
most of the tutorials, if not all, your going to find here are based on photoshop

so if i were you id find photoshop and ditch paintshop

but sig wise, a nice starter size is suttin like 460x160
not really too big, but a nice amount of space in there...

psp 7 is a good program for graphics...and if you like to make animated sigs etc use Animation Shop 3
