Comments: This was quite possibly the most inconsistent verse I've ever read. There was some really good shit in here. The two nose lines hit really hard and were pretty witty. The rest of the lines I quoted were decent. However, there were some pretty terrible lines in this verse like that jack-off line and the line ya wasted on MC Firetruck. Better verse than last week, just too up and down. It seems like you just don't know what makes a good text punch cuz ya do audio and the two are so different.

Comments: JTR, I feel very similar to your verse this week as you did last week. This verse was the exact opposite of Spul's it was very consistent, too consistent. In fact, because this battle was 30 lines, your verse got boring. You had some personals, but a lot of wordplay, too much of it. Some wordplay is awesome, but too much gets tiring. Some of it I'd seen before and didn't do too much for me, and some I hadn't, like the kicks and profound lines. The personals were all okay, but none of them left me with an "OUCH" kinda feeling. When doing quotables, I had a difficult time with your verse because so many of the lines were okay, not bad, close to quotable, just not quotable. This verse you posted was solid, some good lines in it, just a lot of statements that didn't do too much for me.

Overall Comments: Extremely difficult decision right here because JTR writes like a pure text head and Spul writes like a audio head/comedian. Here's what it came down to in my eyes. JTR's verse had some cool shit, but a lot of it was average and after reading it a few times, I didn't feel much harshness from it. Spul had some terrible lines, but he also had some pretty witty ones. I really coulda gone either way here. Again, and this is somewhat dick to say, but I want to reiterate that neither of you deserved to be here. I don't care what the newbs of this site said, both of you lost last week, and pretty clearly at that. However, I feel JTR didn't really step up his game for this match, just wrote what was an average verse by his standards. Spul wrote a far better verse this week than he did last week and as a whole, I think his verse was harder hitting, and thus, the better one. Close match, good one fellas.
