Volume 6 Mag.



Intro.


Hey, whats up guys. First and foremost i want to again, thank those
of you that participated accordingly last week. However, all matchups
did not go as should. We still had a few no shows, which have been booted.
I also noticed a bit of bitching. If you have any problems you need to contact me. Do not freepost in your battles. Drop your punches, up every so often and thats it. Now, i know that the past couple weeks haven't been up to par on my part either. I've been busy, but everything should be good now. The baby wound up being in perfect health. We haven't had any problems since we've been home. And everythings going great. I DON'T want this league flopping. We have plenty of potential here, and there should no longer be problems.



Week 7 Battle Reviews.


Thoth .vs. FlowIntelligent

This battle definately had potential to be one of the better matchups of last week. Flow your 1st bar had some wit in it. But that concept is pretty played, the way you worded it wasn't bad. But the overall harshness was dull. Ok bar here. Thoth your punches weren't that great. I've see you do loads better then this. It seemed to me like you tryed to put to much content in your punches. The wording threw the harshness of the punch off. Flow failed to drop his 2nd bar on time. Therfor Thoth catches the win on this one.


Big Picture .vs. Showcase


Your first bar wasn't that harsh. But the concept was there. I didn't really liked the way you worded it. But eh, ok still. 2nd bar was a lil better. Set up could have been worded more harsh. I've seen you do loads better. But it seems like your interest from the league is falling. Get back into it. You have the ability to drop dope. Big, i actually didn't think your 1st bar was that bad. In a way that concept is played against him. But i liked your wording. 2nd bar was ok, nothin really catchy or harsh about it though. After the votes rolled in Showcase wound up stealing the win 3-1.


Intense It E .vs. top C krit


Both of these individuals have been on the lower bracket of potential since being in the league. I do however think both show alot of potential. Intense i wasn't really feeling your 1st bar. It was extremely forced. The concept wasn't really harsh. top both of your bars were mediocre, with ok concepts that just lacked in correct wording. Intense your 2nd bar showed promise, work on wordplay, witty concepts. intense rolled with the win here.


Aphillyate .vs. Lay Fear


Lol, @ the battle of the underdogs. These 2 battlers, always have descent concepts. That with a little work and the right wording could be dope. These 2 definately have potential. Just have to work at it. Lay your first bar. had a great set up. wording was intact concept was there, but then the finish fucked it up. Comepletely threw it off. 2nd bar was ok. nothing special. could have been better. Aphilly i thought both of your bars were mediocre. Not your best. However i think you have a lil bit more harshness in your wording. Not alot of votes here, which could have flopped it another direction. but aphillyate catches the win here.


kid sick .vs. Brandon C.


Big upset this week. Both of these battlers can drop dope. But refuse to do it here => kid sick your first bar was weak really. Played, could have been doper. 2nd bar was about the same nothing harsh from you at all. Brandon, lol i thought your 1st bar was good. well worded, concept was there. made me laugh. 2nd one was ok. with better wording in the finish it could have been doper. one sided battle here. Brandon takes it.

Jay-Brook .vs. K.Stubbs

K.Stubbs walks with the win, and boots opponent for no show.


Contendorship Match: Coop .vs. Zelph


I'm battlin both yall bitches on rb this week. Dammit. Lol, both of
these battlers remain at the top in this league. Zelph i think i've
seen better from you. 1st bar was ok, i didn't like the wording at all
concept really wasn't strong either. I felt you didn't hit with
what you were saying. 2nd bar was actually played, i wasn't feeling
that either. Could have been better. Coop followed through with a nice
flip. The feed was great, i actually sell phones. And i use those two pitches
all the time "Alltel you somethin better'' and "Sprint over here, i'll show you how to save some money'' I liked the wording. masterful, 2nd bar was nice as well. Good concept.


Championship Match: DaTrusHurts .vs. TonyTone


Both of these individuals have battled each other over and over.
DaTrus your first bar wasn't bad actually i liked the concept. Harshness
was a lil more on the eh side. Wording was good. 2nd bar i wasn't really
feelin i felt it was forced. Not a good concept. weak. Tony both of your bars i felt were leaning mediocre. rushed even. I don't feel you finished either of them harsh. Both had descent set ups. but thats it. Once again DaTrus toples with the win here, And remains undefeated
