-SOUNDCARD... vital part of the signal chain.... you must buy something that is worth it... dont buy soundblaster shit....the lowest you should go is delta model soundcards by M Audio.

- Hard Drive.... at least 40 like Alc said...

yea take his advice. soend $200 for a piece of shit pc that is barely fast enough to do anything and is not upgradable which has used parts that are most likely at least 7 years old and will burn out soon. or invest 300 in a new pc where u can actually multitask and bring up applications within a decade. not to mention run an OS thats worth a shit lol.

Then like i asked about a celeron, he started going off about how they werent good and slow and shit.. then he was like oh they got some kinda special with the athalon and shit........ then like after that it all went so fast... he was telling me about all the specifics and shit... and i was thinking like this is all the shit yall was talkin about........ then next thing i know we signin warrenties and shit........ well Fuck radio shack!!! i saw some 300 dollar condesor mics at zzsound.com for like only 50/60 dollars................. we might have to START WITH THAT. and upgrade as the money starts comming in....

jumper settings are involved...buying the right fans....connecting the power supply to the motherboard and then to the reset and power buttons...

that shit is not easy for some people..

yea i didnt even think about if he knew how lol. but I coulda still sold him a better system for that much money. But don't worry postman, youre not the first person to make the HP mistake... and you wont be the last. Computer bundles suck. But luckily HP tech support is fairly good about replacing their piece of shit parts. But dont call them when u have a software issue. youll be better off throwing the computer out the window and hoping the impact fixes it.

oh and yeah... u need to save money for an equally goos preamp and mic. dont buy one now and save later. just buy the right thing the first time. You'll be a lot happier.
