presonus blue tube pre amp Delta 66 sound card pop filter boomstand is this setup good or bad and how could i improve it without spendin a fortune? thank you |

if you want a descent (SP?) setup, youre gonna have to spend a lil dinero
K.A.VI-- I would not recommend spending anything if its just for battling online. Only recommended to those that are really REALLY serious about their future in rap. Other than that, not worth it.  |

thats a decent setup. That mic is pretty cheap but i have it and I'm impressed with how good it actually sounds. But if u have the money i would invest in a better mic.

is there any cheaper sound cards that will still be good or should i just spend the money on a rele good one? maybe should i get a less expensive card and better mic? and lol is zzounds best place to buy this ish? thanks very very mucho |

i get my stuff from musiciansfriend .. they have a good selection..i recommend a behringer b-2.. very ill for its price range..(150)

u can get delta 44, which i think is 250$.. cause delta 66 is 299... that saves u 40... n get a behringer b2, u just add 50, but u got 40 from buyin a delta 44(which is very good also)....

dawg if you're really serious about your shit then save for each peice of equipment starting with the sound card. Get the best for what you wanna do... not the cheapest. You'll be a lot happier buying what u want the first time instead of going thru 4 mics, 3 preamps, 2 sound cards, and a partridge in a pear tree.

so i guess ill just go with the b2, the mxl 990 and delta 66. can i get any more opinions on presonus blue tube vs behringer b2 for my amp?

I just found out theres preamps wit sound cards.... should i get 1 of them to go wit my mxl 990??? or would that be to good for that mic? and if i do get 1 which kind should i get

i have the MXL 990. I like it but there are always better mics than the one you have. I don't plan on getting a new one until I cop a high end one. You can't beat that mic for the price. If you plan on getting a really nice mic down the road I wouldnt spend too much more on your first one. If not, I would cop somethin better.
