So, I really hope this battle doesn't succumb to the curse of chain voting... because it is close I know, but I honestly have Eddie taking this battle. Lay said he was coming hard in the playoffs and this week.. I don't know.. his verse just doesn't seem to be hitting that hardness that I am used to seeing his verses doing. I thought he had a couple of shit concepts, he flipped a played concept nicely.. he also had the best bar of the entire battle.. but overall his verse wasn't nearly as good as I would expect from him. Also, the fat punch at the start lost its meaning on me because like I said.. I know for a fact that Eddie is not fat. Others might like it though. Eddie didn't come close to as hard as I've seen him come in previous battles. He is a raw battler, but this week he seemed to coast with an above average verse. He had a few punches that I liked, they weren't spectacular, but they definitely made me laugh. He had a general cocky swagger that I've seen him use before, and overall his verse was just more appealing to me. The sphered and sting punches were his best, they both had me laughing.

Honestly, I thought Lay took this pretty easy. I thought Eddie's verse had an alright line here or there, his opener was pretty good. But overall, Lay had a few more decent punches than he did. Eddie you started really well but after 2 bars you seemed to jus fall off and your structure was really bad.
Lay your verse had many lines that made me chuckle, your wording was good but alittle off maybe a couple of times but still think you took this one by a long margine.
Eddie your verse lacked wording and structure and general punches after the first few or so.
