Introduction:

So yeah, first week went about as well as I expected. Nobody likes no-shows, but this first round's only purpose was to weed out the weakest competitiors early on. We even caught a cheater *cheers*. Most of the bullshit is gone, so I expect everyone to enjoy the 2 week break we're taking. I just want to accomodate those who weren't bitching/no-showing/cheating last round. Now that that's been taken care of, we can get down to business.

Reviews:

1. JTR, 2. N.Tavarez, 3. It's SPuL - Bye for Round 1.
All 3 won by KO.

4. Mimesis vs. 61. Withersman
Withersman was found out to be Common's alias, and was promptly removed from the tournament. Mimesis won by DQ.

7. Appocolyptik vs. 58. Past Tense
Past Tense dropped weak, as expected. Appoc came much harder, hung on the fat jokes a little...but then again, he didn't really need to try hard at all for this one.

Then don't waste our fucking time, idiot.

9. DaTrusHurtz vs. 56. Aimez
Another battle that ended exactly how it was predicted. Aimez is nowhere near DTH's calibur, and needless to say, that was proven. Easy win for DTH, as he advances on to the next round.

16. Common vs. 49. Dex
Retarded ass Common got himself caught signing up on another account, and was DQ'd, giving Dex the win.

22. Daubs vs. 43. ThatNigga
This was closer than folks expected. Both didn't drop too hard, however, resulting in a sub-par battle. But in the end, Daubs came out ontop.

25. Trey Methodz vs. 40. Wicked One
It's seems as though Trey didn't try at all, and still won easily. Eww @ Wicked's verse.

27. Robkilla vs. 38. Blackmage
This was a close one, with a nice nameplay from Black and a Harry Potter play from Rob. Rob squeaked by, though, and advances to round 2.

28. Invektive vs. 37. GKillaz05
Weak battle here. Invektive won, though his verse was not good at all.

31. Kool Col-B vs. 34. MarvolousJay
Col-B won. Marv is now real sad.

Round 2 Predictions:

1. JTR vs. 49. Dex
JTR will take this easily. You guys know what he's capable of. And Dex, well if it weren't for Common's stoopid ass getting DQ'd last round, I think Dex would've no-showed.

2. N.Tavarez vs. 33. The Revelation
I never really saw Rev as a text head, and that's why I'm going with Tav to win it this round. He's just a lot more consistent and has been known to drop pretty good sometimes.

3. It's SPuL! vs. 31. Kool Col-B
It's a re-match of last tourney. This one'll be close, 'cuz SPuL at times can drop some nice shit, but people love Col-B for the "funny" things he posts in LL. I see SPuL winning this skillwise, but on RV that doesn't always happen.

4. Mimesis vs. 30. Typical
Typ's decent, but not up to Mim's level. Mim shouldn't have much trouble advancing to round 3.

5. ambience vs. 29. Compose
I heard ambience isn't the real one from RB, but a poser. With that said, Compose might not have as much of a challenge this round. But I still think ambi's gonna win, because Compose likes to get whiny and no-show because he's afraid to try.

6. L.I. vs. 28. Invektive
L.I.'s known to drop consistently, and Invektive's known to drop audios. I see L.I. moving along after this one.

7. Appocolyptik vs. 27. Robkilla
Both can drop good at times, but I feel Appoc will edge this one out. He's just more consistent than Rob.

8. RetsazD vs. 26. E.C
RestazD wont have much trouble this round. E.C's improving, but still isn't at a high enough level to make it to the later rounds in KORV3. His biggest downfall is his wording.

9. DaTrusHurtz vs. 25. Trey Methodz
Trus will win even if Trey bites again.

10. Sobe. vs. 24. Spektikul
I see Sobe. taking this. Spek hasn't been on point too much lately.

11. Vaskez vs. 23. ~High-Dro~
Vask is much better than Dro. He should win this, unless another problem arises with people who can't vote for shit.

12. FuxJustAWord vs. 22. Daubs
This'll be good right here. Daubs has made a vast improvement on his text, and Fux is still one of the top text heads on RV when he tries to be. So I see Daubs getting a challenge this round, but Fux shouldn't underestimate him. I see Daubs squeaking by in the end, but not after a good battle.

13. Nick Fletcher vs. 21. Flow Intelligent
This is about the right time when Flow disappears from a KORV tourney. I predict Nick will win by no-show.

14. Ambient vs. 20. New Meth0d
Haven't seen Ambient around much lately, but last time I checked he still had his touch. Meth can drop good when he needs to, overall making this seem as it'll be a close match-up. Overall I think Ambient will perform better and advance to round 3.

15. Apo Kold vs. 19. Natural Killa
Although Apo told me he's rusty, NK might have to do his homework for this round. Some of you remember Apo as Poppa Kap from 2004. Is this his comeback, or is he just making a cameo appearance? We'll find out soon enough. Oh yeah, I predict Apo'll win, but something tells me NK might cook up something good.

17. Apostrophe vs. 18. Drakel
Another close match this week. Both are about equal as far as consistency and calibur of wordplay/punches. So I'm calling this one a tie, because I honestly can't call it.

So there you have it. Round 1 was crap, but round 2 looks to be significantly better. However these battles end up, good luck to all. The competition's heating up, y'all, so it's time to figure out your gameplans.
