Both were entertaining for as metas and punches. The difference to me is the complexity of the verse that pheonix displayed. More than just the same pattern of flow and rhyme scheme.

Pheoniix your lines seemed forced. You had some personnels and multis but I was not feeling this drop. I thought you had this won, until I read Meters drop. Keep elevating and add a level of complexity to your verses. No need for explanation, we do understand meta's here...

Meter although your lines were strechted a bit, (I do the same thing) you came hard. Multi's, meta's and word play all pressent. The complexity of your verse by far stood out in my mind. This is what I contribute to your win in my mind. Keep elevating and work on tighting up those lines. Great job.
