yeah im 6'5 230, and im startin to get worried cuz my college diet/lack of exercise over the summer is leaving me some man boobies and a little beer belly... lol so im tryin to start doin SOMETHING, but i think im gonna start by just completely changing my diet up, only drinking water, and trying to eat healthy every meal with only fruits and stuff as snacks...

PS - Q, if you really wanted to be the man, you could prepare a little daily diet for me to stick to that can be prepared for the most part with a refrigerator & microwave (thats all i got in my room but i can use an oven in the lounge on occasion if necessary)... like i said, all im really trying to do right now is keep this built up fat off of me and get lean and stay lean when i get there... as far as building muscle, im not going to worry about that so much right now, so dont give me a heavy protein diet or anything...

:)

^^shit man 6'5 230 damn lol. Yeah man, water would put you on the right track REAL fast. Honestly man it's easy to lose weight when you go about it the way you're discussing. You're actually willing to do what's neccessary. most people expect to lose weight without having to make a change in their life.

I drink a milkshake nightly, eat chips and hot sausages, drink soda, stay inside on the computer, and still have a six pack. Yesterday I sparred with a brown-stripe in Tae Kwon Do and my right wrist is sprained, and I have no orthodox training in martial arts. After a while I got his arms behind him, with both of his arms locked under my left one, and keep tapping below the back of his neck with my elbow to show that I ha won easily, and if I actually elbowed him he'd be on the ground squirming. I usually head out to the YMCA but I don't do much that makes me all sore in the morning. I do the leg press usually, I used to max it but I got lazy so now I can only manage like 275 before getting loose and whatnot, probably 335 or so before I end the work-out. I used to be doing 405, but now I'm more compact because it's baseball season and I go for speed instead of muscle --- I'm pitcher for my team. I don't get sore in the morning because I tend to do isometric/static training, which doesn't take much time at all. Say I can benchpress 105...well, with isometric, I put on about 145 and then lock my arms halfway into completely pushing the barbell forward, leaving my arms in that position where gravity pulls on it the most and you get the most strain on your muscles...so you hold the maximum amount of weight you can for as long as you can, around eight seconds, and then wait a few minutes and repeat.

^^then again, you also look like a test tube baby. you're liek what..16? your metabolism is alrready fast, all you gotta do is no slow it down...which it's gonna start to do as you get older. Suckin down all that junk food is DEF gonna catch up to you lol.

Have fun!
