hard to choose, trey's was stretched which really pissed me off because i hate stretched shit, but he had more of a punch than daubs did, at least i thought so... so, considering this is a PUNCHLINE league, i'll go with the one who had the more affective punch..... But in terms of grammar..I don't think you'll say "he's style".
Like,if your talking to someone, you'd say..I wasn't feeling "HIS style"..or I'm not feeling "YOUR style"..somewhere along the lines of that. You wouldn't say I'm not feelin "he's style". Unless UK have grammatical differences as well. |

I see what you tried to do, but me being from the U.K too, I know no one who pronounces HIS as EES...ok maybe some would say IS rather than his, but that still doesn't really make good wordplay because in e-style you are talking of an extended sounding E..... On to the battle, I don't think Daubs' wordplay worked and even though Trey MethodZ' punch was stretched as hell, the punch itself was decent enough....so overall Vote - Trey Methodz |

Daubs punch wasn't very good, but I tell ya what, it was a punch and it flowed. Trey's first off was stretched. Bein' stretched a little is okay and I don't like to vote on flow, but think of it this way, if you were havin' a live battle and you said something that long, it'd lose pretty much all of it's effect cuz it's so long. Now, Trey's was more creative, but it was wayy stretched and not just that, there wasn't much of a punch to it, just a statement. No hate of course meant here, but yeah, I think Daubs got this.
