Id like everyone to take a second, and see what happens when your been on a computer for 24 hours straight.

This makes as much sense as a handicapped asian kid tryna speak english.

hang on you never told me you've been to Crawley before

L.E 06-23-06 03:27 AM

We do sets everyday at my bro's house. Then we go and play basketball or footbal.

We're not hardcore, but we do get our excersize.

Oh, and it's not about how much you lift...it's about what you eat.

[.:D:.] 06-23-06 04:45 AM

yea i kno that feelin Apexx..i was curlin and then my arms just locked up and i looked like a robot or sum shit..and they hurt like shit everytime i tried to put them down..but it stopped after maybe 4 or 5 days..lol

∆ P E X X 06-23-06 12:49 PM

^^everybody who wants to work out goes through a "beaking in" phase shere they gotta 'get the soreness out'. after that first session of soreness, your muscless will be used to working again and not get beat like that. Then from there you're ready to lift.

once you even your arms out, it's an easy road. you'll want to do it and enjoy it.

and rev, true, food is critical in a 'work out'. you don't gain any musces in the gym, you gain them all outside the gym when you recoop.

La Cosa Nostra 06-25-06 12:06 AM

I started doing 400 sit ups a day now...

Didnt think I could do it but today I tried and it actually wasnt that hard....

doing more sit ups won't guarantee more or even better results.

Besides, sit ups are antiquated and irrelevant.

TonyTone 06-25-06 12:14 AM

situps don't work, trust me

1st of all, abs are about 60% diet, 40 % exercise.

The key to abs (quick/effective abs) is to trigger certain muscles by doing different exercises and in certain orders as well.

Example: Traditional sit ups don't work, period. You can do 1000 of them and you won't burn that belly fat.

Crunches work best...And, with crunches, you should do a wide variety of crunches to hit the different areas of your abs...

Rectus Abdominals...= mid drift area
Transverse abs = lower (the belt line)
Obliques (internal and external)...= love handle area

Also, to really get a completely flat stomach, some exercises will have to be done off the floor, either by standing, or moves that raise your legs at some point. Raised legs work the transverse abdominals...Twisting raised legs work the obliques well.

Also, breathing correctly fires the ab muscles while crunching...When you exert an effort, exhale while concentrating on the muscle itself...

I can tell you a specific exercise depending on which area of ur ab u want work in.

TonyTone 06-25-06 12:23 AM

sit ups do work actually but they only target a specific portion of your abs. do different types of crunches n shit. the bad thing about sit ups is if you're doing them wrong they can mess up your neck and your back. there's other exercises you can do instead of sit ups too but i'm not sure what their called, i just know how to do them lol

Well, I'm not really trynna burn fat.. Because theres not a whole lot of it there in the first place.. I work out mainly to keep buff.. When you got a bikini model as a girlfriend shit is invaluable lmao...

But yo cheers for the heads up man, I wont make you sit here and type out a full work out manual or nothing, I'll start looking this stuff up on the net and get my kung fu instructor mate to give me some pointers to get a more well rounded work out...

See...here's the thing. If a person is overweight, but does sit ups, they'll develop muscle under that layer of belly fat. That's why I said abs are 60% diet. To really shape your abs you'll need to burn fat as well as tone the specific areas. Otherwise, you'll just be doing sit ups, and the shape of your abdominals won't change much, especially if your diet is not modified. And, judging from your pics, NOS, you are about 10-15 lbs overweight.

damn, he just like sorta fried em but in a nice way

*goes to look at Nos's pics*

And I been doing it for a fairly long time...
