JournaL.L.L. - Week III: The Reign Continues
[ Introduction ]
The mood should be somber, for our league has lost two of its best: Camarac & Quotient, due to circumstances beyond our control. However, I was impressed by many-a-netcee this week, & see potential in a lot of new recruits. Taktik retained his title in a nail-biter with Quotient, Bare Knuckles continues in his march to success, & Axe E. Um gives Camarac a run for his money & more! Unfortunately, the week's purportedly good match-ups were marred by no-shows. 13th Disciple, Chrit & Evolve all won, while Termz & Duper Sand no-showed. But first . .

[ The Interview ]
This week, I had the privilege of interviewing the current LLL Heavyweight champion: Taktik .

RalphsBagels: Rocking an I-gangsta moniker, I see . . When did you start writing?
lethaltaktiks: I jus started writing online in early May and joined RB late May........so ive only been rappin for a few months
RalphsBagels: & have you upped your game to the audio level as of yet?
lethaltaktiks: I've began to get into it.....ive done 1 freestyle......and am planning to do some collabs and possibly some battles.....the problem is i dont have the equipment....so i cant do it that often
RalphsBagels: I see. . How about influences in the way of your writing?
lethaltaktiks: My main inspirations.....is Biggie Smalls and 2pac....they're like the greatest of all time.......no one today can compare to them.........but living in Canada....my main influences were Kardinal Offishall, Bishop and other canadian rappers
RalphsBagels: The ever-growing Canadian Hip-Hop Scene graces our magazine - how wonderful . . Do you see any competition in the league to challenge for your title ?
lethaltaktiks: For sure.....last week I was expecting Quo to come hard....and i thought it would be a good test unfortunetly he didnt....so i didnt have to drop a hard verse........this week i got 13th which should be good....others i c that could compete would be Evolve, Chrit, yourself and many others.im not cocky cuz im sure there are many the are better then me.......but when people ask who are the illest on the site.....id like to hear my name mentioned, and actually be recognized as an elite
RalphsBagels: Rightfully so - I s'pose you're on your way . . Any advice for budding netcees hanging on your every word?
lethaltaktiks: Jus.....believe that you can elevate an dont listen to people who say your wack.....also dont take anything serious cuz this is jus the Net
RalphsBagels: Normally, I'd ask you the personal questions at the commencement of the interview, but I forgot :/ . So, how old are you and where are you from ?
lethaltaktiks: im 17 yrs of age.....and im from Toronto, Canada

1. Taktik: Once again proves me wrong and retains his title .
2. youngblood: Impressed me immensely - shows weekly growth.
3. Bare Knuckles: Although his multiple name-changes left me baffled, he came dope & has a title shot this week.

[ Week's Worst ]

1. Evolve: Continues his spelling woes by spelling "Wednesday" wrong yet again! This is the second time I've pointed it out, 'volve. Get it right or pay the price!
2. Termz: Would surely provide weekly competition if he showed up. I suppose he does emerge partially victorious, though - with the emergence of his new, up and coming website.
3. Duper Sand: Not only has the word "Duper" in his user-name, but no-shows yet again. L

[ The Conclusion ]

This week's match-ups showed a lot of promise . . Unfortunately, we've had a lot of star-power leaving / being kicked out of RB. Hopefully, new breeds of netcees can salvage this league and site. Otherwise, we are all headed for a collective sink. I wish you all luck next week, and conclude with the following statement:
