i remember when i first wrote a poem n' spoke
through notes of flow inside my mind in quotes.
the time i reached law - and the time i saw it
from winning to losing, I remember applaudin'
causin' the rawness to use me when rockin'
no nonsense when thoughts click so awesome
I remember the times I succeeded to fail - please
The time i defied the belief I'd always fail to succeed
or truely believe i'd achieve all of my dreams,
but i won't, and will continue to never complete...
a heart, to care, i've never been there, once true
I remember when we said we loved - do you?
the letters of melody might've spanned my soul
but they must've chose another path to go.
I remember gettin` cocky, and talked too proud
The time I tried walkin on water, and sunk right down
that single moment when i thought it was possible
to do the impossible, play god for a single moment
to control it and hold in my power a singles fate
I remember the times I had these thoughts, and awake...
for Christs' sake, my mind aches from endeavours that're due,
i chew my words, think back to an old ink pad i used
The times I had thr right to say whatever was true
and do you remember the time i lost my memory- I do.
