Alone in a Room
 

At the start of each day it is just me...
Alone in a room.
I have no eagle feathers, no honor song has been
sung for me and
There is no recognition for my caring for the homeless
and hungry maybe
I am only good at the little things well
My life is nothing pretty that is why
I hope I can sleep peacefully tonight the bottom line is
At the end of the day it is just me...
Alone in a room.

hmm...short yes...but theres somethin to it...

I am only good at the little things

that line seems more then appropriate in this...small yess but it still works to portray the meaning...liked the repitition of the alone in the room...draws the piece to a close...

u said alot with those few words. great poem. i would change the how u structered it. meaning i would type it up differently but each word was penned perfectly imo
