By a rapper who just made it... sayin thats gona be me~
Next day im wit my homeboys freestyling on the block~
Never running outta rhymes like i got hundreds on stock~
Did that for a while then i started to write tracks~
Dreaming that someday i could be gettin those plaques~
As i aged i started battling at all the local clubs~
Eatin emcees like their all just some subs~
Now me and my homeboy had our own schemes~
I rhymed and he had the beats that was our dreams~
We made hot songs and our mixtapes sold out~
Then he got shot right after our first tryout~
They called my house and said that they wana see me~
They told me "u got potential kid n u write ur rhymes deeply"~
The funeral arrived and i prayed to my boy up above~
Told him imma do this for you and do it wit love~
Went to the studio to record my first track~
It was a crazy ass song i called Outta the Pack~
Asking why my boy got shot and not me~
Released my album and it debuted at numba 3~
Peeps was respectin me now n i was makin a video~
Watched it rise up the countdown like a hot newshow~
10 years later... now ive matured quite a bit~
Still writin for my boy...they neva found the culprit~
Now im one of the best n i just released a new cd~
