Thoughtz On Lockdown

I sit here staring at these blank four walls
Feeling sorry for myself cuz I chose not to answer my opportunity calls
All I can hear is the sound of my heart at night while my sprit falls
Thinking how if I was still on the outside I could have had it all
hearing the screams of men withdrawal symptomsfrom every which cell
feeling the jelousy of my mind when I see a young cat released on bail
wishing I had loveones to send me mail
looking at my complection in which looks quite pale
dreaming about my life and how it could have prevailed
but ofcourse I kno that ship has sailed
I feel as if im that lonely animal people come to see caged
And they wonder why they go into a state of rage
My head under construction my mind facing destruction
once living life in the fast lanes I fell quickly into the luxurious suction
im at war wit myself an internal conflict
I blame the white man and my father for me being here constantly feeling sick
But im hear to stay nothing to live for left
My faith is whats keeping me alive I not choose death
Pain is now what my future holds I think about it 24/7
But I plane to read, pray, and remain strong that’s my ticket to heaven
