My Parents
Caged like an animal in this place I used to call home
Want to get out, leave and find someplace of my own But money talks, which I don’t seem to have none Walking around my prison seeming to be shunned Bible says to honor my father and mother always Respect them to the very end of all their days But how is it possible if they don’t seem to care Never givin opinions nor their wisdom do they share Getting close to movin out and leaving them behind Reaching for the stars and in some way goin to shine But not having dads approval for what I believe is God’s will Wanting me to conform to something else even though its not what I feel Mother vacant not even seeming to know I’m there Do I need to get a life raft, go to sea, and set off a flair To show her that I want to talk to her about anything Neither one tell me they’re proud for what I’m doin for the King But I stay strong and continue to pray for the Lord’s guidance Hopefully they will come around or I’ll get some kinda finance http://community.rapverse.com/showthread.php?t=199301 |
