LAshin out the war of good versus evil/
ya know this as God vs. devil/
but the fact is many of us are turning to the dark side/
this ain't Star Wars, we could all very well die/
The wickedness going on in this world today/
everyday in the news you hear of another human slayed/
this ain't funny no more, we could rap of killin people/
but the fact of this is, the world is still filled with evil/
and what us emcees say may not always be true/
but some how some way it still gets to our youth/
and they lead life with all these fucked up lives/
chance of them changin is like a gun vs. knife/
But by now you may think that evil is winning/
but God is great and he forgives even as we keep on sinning/

So now the battle took place in one person's life/
he wuz convinced to kill a nigga, cuz he was on the grind/so in the middle of the he went cop his 9/
came back to shoot a nigga in a matter of time/
but then the world froze as someone pressed the pause/
a dark and scary voice talked to him, with big claws/
"kill him and you don't have to worry bout nothin no more/
the movers won't have to force you out through the door"It was the only way to escape, he figured/
so he went right and started to pull the trigger/
"STOP, if you kill you'll end your life too/
what do you think the chance is that the cops won't find you/
you have a wife and kids for you to pull this shit off like you do/
so let him live and things will come out better for you"/
he threw down his gun and stared in the sky/
he asked"God, if you love, why must I suffer i'd just rather die"?/

and be patient and things will come out better for you"/
