called "It didn't have to be" Its a song about teh 8 friends ive lost to death in the last 18 months. The beat ive chosen is by jedi mind tricks. I used to pray, I thought faith would show me light
But instead it took the sun away and replaced my days with nights

I struggle through the memories and the words they’ll never say
Through the fact they, couldn’t stay long enough to hear goodbyes
Through the sound, of hearing each and every of mother cry
And At night I sleep, I attempt to numb the pain
And struggle to hold on to the memories you drain
My Tears stain my pillow, and my visions stain my mind
Like I’m supposed let it go forget it all put it behind
I will not hide behind what some will never feel
My heart has been removed and replaced with one of steel

some great imagery here, some great one-liners as well.

you just need to up your vocab a little, you kept rhyming the same words in places, dont be another 50 cent.
