Heaven
I already posted this, just wanted to poll it...
And did those feet in ancient time Walk upon Heaven's mountains green? And was the holy Lamb of God On Heaven's pleasant pastures seen? And did the Countenance Divine Shine forth upon our clouded hills? And was Heaven built here Among these dark Satanic Mills? Bring me my bow of burning gold Bring me my arrows of desire Bring me my spear, clouds, unfold Bring me my chariot of fire Heaven was not, nor will be built Jerusalem or Washington, hate and guilt Religion does not prosper here, only violent beliefs But heaven, a place so far away, has fought away from grief I will not cease from mental fight, Nor shall my gun sleep in my hand Till I have built our Heaven In Heaven's green and welcome land. |
What do you think people, just want some insight...

as i said before, thats the type of poem that is remembered for years, the type of stuff you'd see in a poetry book.

yea this was a good poem... I agree with Stark on this one but... thats the poems that gets put in books not the ones that get remembered... the poems that get remembered are ones like "Close Call" which was posted in the foruma while bk... but stay up
