Miss, RIP *Off the top of my head*
 

Its been a few months now since you've been gone...
No more hugs, no more kisses...
Just emptiness...
I miss you so...
But no matter what happens I can't let you go...
I can't release the sweetness...
Your face... your kiss... your touch...
I tried to forget that day I found you...
The way you seemed so lifeless...
The paramedics brought you back, but it was no use...
After some care, you got a little better...
We sat up nights and talked in the hospital...
Of life and love...
You had me promise you something...
To never let a love go...
You saw the true love in his eyes and mine...
So you told me to follow my heart...

As the days went on, and we grew sick...
They did tests on you and found a lot...
I would give up my life for my friends...
But I soon found out....you gave up yours for mine...
You were the one that got me better...
Yet I lost a love for a simple illness...
Til this day I love you...
But then I hate you...
I hate you for leaving us...
But I understand because you meet your family again...
But WHY?...
Why did you have to leave us?...

I often blame myself for him being gone...
They said there was nothing I could have done...
But there must have been something...
They said I made his last days joyous...
Yet I never got a chance to say goodbye...
I'll meet up with him on the other side...
I just take it one day at a time...
I miss him so much and I still keep that promise for him...
And I always will.

This is a good topic. To have a good friend past away really sucks. The emotion was felt and this was felt deep in me. again good job. JT

This is a topic that when a person has it happen to them, they have to write about. It's just so natural.

And this poem seemed to be so natural too. I guess 'cause it's off the top of your head. Anyway, I read it and I can really feel what your going through. Maybe it's because we've all lost loved ones, and can relate, or because the of the feeling of emptyness and sorrow you conveyed. Eitherway, you wrote, and I felt.

i agree you wrote and i felt!! it was a pure emotion piece, and still was a good read, it was a very personal piece, but about something alot of ppl can relate to. but you showed us what you were going though and i can feel it. my love to you.

Great piece. I knoow how it is to lost someone that close to you and never be able to hug or kiss this person. It is the worst feeling in life. The feeling of emptyness. Angel, I know how you feel. All and all, great piece. Look forward to reading more from you. Keep dropin.
