he sold more records than them...but the "best new artist" category isnt about record sales... the commitee who chooses who receives the award consist of more than hip hop heads... EMINEM deserved the new artist award he won in 2001.... 50 may have sold a truckload of records, but thats not what its all about... Evanesance has a better sound than 50 cent in my opinion, 50 may have had alot of "hits" in the world of hip hop...but his only crossover hit was "in tha club"... evan had "bring me back to life"... a mega hit... that was played in almost every movie that came out last year...and on every new sitcom/drama on tv...lmao...

he didnt get "robbed" of anything... evanesance deserved that award just as much as he did...
