first of all props to both emcees that came out today, this was good entertainment. Nice verses all around.
here's the verdict.
BIGPOPPA-a nice structure at a glance. I can feel a lot of hype energy behind your verse. As if you were A.feeling your verse, or B. just a generally hyped battler. And i respect that. Some of the most lyrically ill rappers lack energy and you seem to have it. UNfortunately what you lack is lyrical content, and wordplay. THese are key elements in battles be it internet, at the party, or on stage at a battle club. A good example is MC battles II on mtv, where there was a guy who i think battled Blind Fury and got ate up. He had insane energy, but no lyrical content or punchlines. And you are just doing a lot of yelling with no good wordplay or punchlines, it can often be worse than a monotone guy with nice lines. So i suggest you study up on what people generally see as ill in terms of lyrics and be influenced by ill rappers, BUT take it in you're own direction.
DACROZOFHB-
Every fuckin battle dis Nigga's sayin da Same Shit/
Must keep forgettin to swallow cuz its da Same Spit/
that's a good opener right there. A quick jab to keep him off you and then you follow with that cross. I liked it. i like the element of the 'beef', in the sense that you two have battled before, it makes one more into the battle itself. What you had was key punchline needed to get over. I think that since that loss you have been more observant of how to be iller than your opponent.
My Crew Mafioso packin mo heat than da Fukin Sopranos/(HBO)
But when shit hits it da fan, you wont have da luxury of Changin da Channel/
that's nice, i'm liking the verse. Just enough to snag a victory, and get your pride back. Now it's time for the tie breaker.
