 Absorb the Atmosphere
open ya mind in deep conteplation
giant tenement buildings
embrace the stratosphere
tower over and look down on the population
with resentment,as it imprisons
hope and ambition of children
there visions diminished..old heads wishin,
they could get there youth back and relive it
dark alleys smell the stench of death wrenching at ya nerves
gun shots heard,a body dropsand hits the curb,
tears of a mother fall , however nobody says a word
sirens ring,birds groan instead of sing.,
here there is no pleasant thing
everything is everything but it all amounts to naught,
the rising of the sun brings more killing ,
mayhem and robbing sprees,the police they dont do a thing
and death sits back and taunts
 There Are No Children Here
only adolecent bodies,with adult minds
wisdom beaten into there skull,override
childhood dreams and wishes
the only means of knowlege is to stay alive
they heard and saw things that was before there time
so they proceeded through the earth but wasnt ripe,
the seed that grew up fast
weary and scarred through the cement of life
they became the nations future,before they could develope a past

Meet the parents at last
years of bottled up child hood
lingers inside,and ignites wild blood
that doesnt coincide,with the priorites of life
parents become archmen to childrens hearts when
they abandon them in desolateapartments
theres no food in the house so the lad is starvin
he reaches out To God,but when God grasp his hand
he snatches back,because he doesnt comprehend
why hes been raisin his self all this time
and his parent act like kids
