Growin up, at times wasn’t that great, still followed a path so straight
A road so long, feeling he’d always been directed by fate
At twenty five found his soul mate, with his children arriving later
A force greater than imagined, but in life there’s always one hater

Reached middle age, still striving for success, still blessed
Good health, family doing well, neighbors impressed
Mini battles his specialty, though wars was his main game
Fought in many for equality, everyone treated the same

A model citizen in society, till something happened so strange
At close range, guy realized his luck was about to change
Wrong place, wrong time, cops arrive and he’s the one blamed
Witnesses say he did it, he was innocent, or so he claimed

Was he framed, guy stood in front of a jury, telling his story
Enemies wishing for this moment, were looking on with glory
Couldn’t decide so the judges adjourned to discuss it further
Came back later, made an announcement guys guilty of murder

Tears run down his eyes, at the thought of 20 years inside
His pride dented, now a cells the only place he can reside
Been through things in his life, always one to contend
But this battle, was final, and he knew that’d bring his end
