i loved mizz fyre's imagery in her piece.. and your interpretation of deaf ears as a female in an institution that has gone crazy.. i think that was creative and your flow made it sound nice. i loved Drama Queen's emotion in your piece.. and your interpretation of deaf ears referring to politics was very nice, i like how you connected with the reader on what could have been a dull topic.

the best part of this was:
Don’t you hear the millions of prayers by their loved ones?
Maybe your ears have been deafened by the sound of guns
This war isn’t about justice or freedom, it’s about foolish pride
Firmly walking in daddy’s footsteps but despised worldwide

^^this was very well written, and what made me lean more towards your piece than mizz fyre's.. i think you both did well but Drama Queen's piece had a greater effect on the reader which is the main goal to writing a topical. To have readers drawn into your piece and keep them interested.
