as i stop and stare to look at at the features of the ocean,
i can almost see a face, covered in ripples from the motions,
the trees glisen, like a mirror image there almost the same,
i put a stick and pierce the calm water to write my name,
so quiet, swifts of wind draft and the sounds of water rushing,
it skims the sea with a gust of air like my finger tips touching,
i splash............. and the water trickles down my damp face,
so liveley yet motionless, there's no chance of being traced,
my mind wonders to the horizon where i can stare at the sun,
and my eyes screw up but i can see my journey has just begun,
