Has NY fallen off

What's good my dudes? In my previous post I stated that NY has fallen off to a large degree. I just wanted to edit that statement. This is particularly for these haters talkin ish about NY like Blackfist and others. Yes it has fallen off musically where it's not producing as much mcs as it once did back in the 80's and 90s. But it all goes in cycles, NY will be back. Still produces some of the hottest rappers if not the hottest in the culture. Just pick up a mix cd and you'll see or hear what i'm talkn about. And as far as all the elements of hip hop as a whole, NY will never fall off. Still the biggest trend setting city in the culture as far as gear, slang, styles even street sports. For instance, And 1 was innovated by the Rucker ball classics in Harlem. That's what I'm saying. Too many things that started in NY in regards to hip hop that are now repd in other cities. And there are so many rappers from NY who started other business through their musical talent and business sense for urban appreciation. From Russell Simons, Jay Z, P Diddy, 50 cent, Fat Joe, Wu Tang clan, Beastly Boys, Rev Run and now Dip set. You're gonna tell me that rappers from other cities were not inspired by these dudes? You got the dirty south sporting fronts hard!!!! Where did that start? Who put Nelly on to Air force 1s?(he mentioned his discovery on Bobitos "It gotta be the shoes").Some of the hottest and well known DJs come out of NY. Still see some of the best graff work in NYC.

I'll always give it up to the West coast, Midwest, and the Dirty South cause they all came up big and they 're a major force in the game. But whether yall realize it or not, NY's the blue print. I'm open for debate on this so if you disagree with anything I wrote get at me.

One!!!
