This was actually really one sided, which disapointed me. I know Nick's dope but he really rushed his verse in this battle, either that or he had writers block. His wording - which is usually on point and makes weak concepts into solid punches - was unusually sloppy. For instance, the links punch has been done before a few times but he could have made it decent, but his wording let him down quite badly. In fact Nick is also renowned for coming with fresher concepts, but this time he didn't seem to be able to formulate many fresh ones. The stable, next to nothing and linx punches were all examples of this. In other words, I've seen Nick drop much better than this and this verse didn't really reflect what he's capable of.
On the contrary, John Hensely dropped one of the best verses I've seen from him on this site. His concepts were worded very well and he combined wit with a hard hitting aggresive format which differs from his usual style, and upped the effectiveness of his punches. The slide down the rankings line was dope as fuck and made me laugh. In fact everything except the box and the britney spears punches (which I didn't really like) was fucking solid. In the end he took this battle comfortably, which suprised me as the last time the two battled it was extremely close.
