and Aphilly, as well as being Top 5 Public Schools in the Nation, UNC is also known as being one of the if not THE best values in the Nation as far as quality of education for your money goes... we're known as the university of the people, and i've fallen in love with the "Carolina spirit," if you will... the free, open minded way of thinking that you can only understand from living in a community like this.
and i'm actually a communications studies major and got asked to do a really big research study for the university this summer that i'm being paid $3000 for alone, and i've been getting straight A's and B's in all of my classes and shit, which does NOT just happen at a school like this. so, what i'm saying is - i actually STUDY communications (the "Speech and Debate 101" that you speak of) - and i'm doing a damn good job of it, which is why i laugh most of you fools off b/c of how ridiculous your views are... ESPECIALLY your views of what being intelligent and making a "good argument" are. but you wouldn't realize this unless you try engaging with people OUTSIDE of RV or your middle/high school lunch table full of ignorant fucks.

And like I said, just because you go to a top school doesn't make you smarter than everyone.
And you DO become so wrapped up in this shit. Like I said, almost any discussion thread in the Off-topic last few days. You come butting in like you're Mr. Know it all, and start off by calling the thread maker an idiot for his views. I'm sure you've learned from your "TOP 5 PUBLIC SCHOOL" that everyone has a right to their own opinion, right? So a simple "I actually disagree with what you're saying, because... " would suffice, instead of throwing out personal attacks that just screams out insecurity.
