i agree wit everything exept there reasons for the quest. their quest was for anything that could make them more powerful. now exclude everything i just said if you meant that to be included when you said kingdoms. but as far as religion im sure thats not why they originally left on these journeys. after they discoverd new places, they mightve had religious reasons then, but i just dont think that was on of their reasons for the initial voyage
