Platoons fight for the need to be free, or is it me,
i mean when a war is over, neither rise to their feet,
they both rage in defeat ,their countries are demolished,
families faces, anger hated, everone seems astoished,
.

I'm going to tell you a story of an age, an age when men were respected,
respected for fighting.............. and helping their country stay protected,
.

.
we were soldiers, the type of soldiers with no fear,
killing people and still able to hold back the tears,
for years, we would fight, for no reason at all,
both in bunkers shooting till the opposistion falls,
we would crawl, in the dirt, soldiers filled with mud,
brown marks, and shirts steined with blood,
who were we doing it for? our country, for freedom,
was it worth all this pain or do we really need em,
we stood up and said no, it isn't worth the pain,
doing it for freedom, but still had little to gain,
blood shed for respect but seeing guts isnt gonna win,
we'd do all the dirty work while people pull the strings,

and so we stood up for our beliefes, and came out on top,
it's finally over, and we see the polititions drop
conquered over the board, gained respect from the people,
Men of honour who managed to clime over a steeple,
